Every single one of us in my eyes from the moment we are born is assigned our own Guardian Angel. A celestial being that will help and guide us throughout our life’s. Your Angel will stay with you from the moment you are born until the moment you die.
Throughout our time on earth, we all have our own life path that we have accepted from God and we have endeavoured to fulfil on earth in our human bodies.
The paths we take can be entirely up to us as we have the freedom of will, but our Guardian Angel works very hard in trying to veer us in the right direction.
So what do they do and how do they get our attention?
I, like many of you, like to listen to the radio. One way that an Angel can get your attention would be for you to hear a certain song played. It will be something that is very personal to you and it will also be random. What I mean is many radio stations play songs in loops.
A strange thing happened to me in McDonald’s a few years ago. I was thinking about a friend who I hadn’t seen for a while and wondered if they still cared about me. As I walked along with my tray of food I started to sing the song “I Won’t Let You Go” by James Morrison, at the exact time as I was singing this song it started to play in this restaurant. It took me back for a minute, but I believe that my Guardian Angel wanted me to hear it to reassure me that my friend was thinking of me.
Another way that they get your attention is to plant thoughts in your head. You know what I mean, your going along and suddenly words or thoughts pop into your head and you think, that’s weird where did that come from? It might be as I said about a friend, a project your working on, or even as I have had a warning that a friend is ill and I need to contact them asap.
A comfort to us all
Something else that Angels do is comfort us. I have been through a few traumatic events in my life. One occasion I was busy working but was very sad and worried about my job at the time. As I stood there I felt a hand press on my shoulder. I wasn’t scared and felt comfort from it. Another time I was in bed with my daughter and woke up as I was moving my hand around on the top of the bed, it felt like I was holding someone’s hand. As I looked over my daughter was fast asleep and had both hands under the covers. On both occasions, I think my Guardian Angel was letting me know I was not alone.
Often in life things happen that are out of our control. I think the job of an Angel is to help us get through the tough times and back on our feet again.
Heaven
When we finally come to the end of our life on earth our Guardian Angel will appear to us. This may be the first time we have seen our Angel. Their job at this time is to come to us at our final hour. When our human body is no longer alive, our Angel will take our soul and lead us to heaven where waiting for us will be all our loved ones that have passed over before us.
You may or may not believe in Angels, but I always think that it is nice to believe in something, they are pure and full of love and would never harm us.
