When I first saw this and read it, it touched me very deeply indeed. I do not know this lady, but found this sympathy letter when I was reviewing the postcards.
Receiving a letter like this at such an emotional and sorrowful time would have brought Mrs Copley some comfort. Comfort to know that herself and her family are being thought of. The words that are written are so beautiful and the way that she describes meeting in Heaven again is something that we all hope for.

My Dear Mrs Copley
I’d like to send you a word of comfort now that your sister has entered into her Father’s home and again met her dear one.
I think of heaven as a garden where I shall again find my dear one who has left the door ajar for me. Your sister will no more be sorrowful or anxious, or have to battle with the things we do have to battle with here.
Do be comforted knowing that you shared a home which was what she wanted and what she will want now, in her greater wisdom is for you to be happy and enjoy your friends.
I do not like to intrude whilst you have so much to do, but if there is anything I can do, you only have to let me know. My deepest sympathy is with Alec and his sister.
