This postcard was sent to Miss Lockton of 109 Paget Street Loughborough on the 20th April 1913 from Winchester.
After doing my research I found that the her full name is Clara Elizabeth Lockton and she was born in 1872 in Kegworth in Leicestershire. She moved with her family to Loughborough, Leicestershire
Her father was Henry who was a police superintendent and her mother was Clara. She had two brothers Ernest and William.
Clara never married and died on 16th February 1939 at 31 Leopold Street Loughborough, Leicestershire. This was not her family home but the home of a lady called Anne Kirk who was a retired matron of a nursing home. Anne Kirk lived alone as per the 1939 census and was a widower
The postcard does not state clearly who it is from, but after reading it you discover that it is from a clergy man.
The postcard is quite difficult to read, so I have done my best, any parts I cannot read I will state this.
The postcard reads:

I am glad you are flourishing. I had a letter (Illegible) for a (illegible) a day or so ago to tell me that the doctor found gangrene had set in with Mary Jane. Afraid she won’t last too long.
I have been booked to take Whitsun day services at St Martins in Leicester, so I shall be coming to see you next Monday. The new vicar has not arrived there yet.
